The big problem i feel is that some people can't get to a church and as believers we need to be fed. Yes, reading our bibles is good but some of us, we need a church to come to us. I don't follow any of the prosperity pastors. As you have all rightly said, many have their faults and we need to test with the word of God on every thing we hear. Have you ever thought of doing a sermon video series for here John Yes I have, and I hope to be able to soon. My schedule has been extremely hectic lately. 14 hour work days, and barely any sleep during the week, but yes, I am hoping to get back to doing videos soon. I was thinking about trying to do some that are not so long. There are so many people that don't have time to watch long videos today, and I was thinking about trying to do 15 minute weekly messages, if the Lord allows. If I do that, I may be able to use the audio for a weekly radio program too. I used to buy time on the local station, and might do that again.

Praise God I believe God knows your faithful heart John and I am sure He will lead you with these plans when the timing is right.

I really feel that what is happening at Narrow ways is really of God.
People are being brought together via online, and we are seeking the truth of God's word together.
Of course the word of God says this:
Heb 10:25 (25)Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
And also this:
Mat 18:20 (20) For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
But also the bible says this:
Galatians 5:18 (18) But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
To assemble ourselves together requires for us to meet with each other.
To be together requires to be in each others company.
And to be gathered together, insist on people being together in each others company.
But you do not gather for the sake of gathering, you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you were ye ought to gather, otherwise were you gather may not be good for you.
You cannot just be under any doctrine.
But in saying that, today you see many saying, oh you have to gather at a local church, often referring to a building or a denomination.
Yet, it is the people that are the church, and it is God that does the leading, not us.
God is not interested in buildings, houses, and so on, what he is interested in is the heart, and he brings people to gather for the right reasons, whether it be a group of 3, or 100.
Yes he appoints pastors and so forth to feed the flock, and we need each other, but when God brings people together, it does not always happen in the exact same way for every body.
It may start off with just a few people fellowshipping, and later, there may be services and so forth.
And yes John do whatever the Lord leads you in doing videos and feeding the flock.
And if Narrow ways has become your place of feeding, then great.
But I do believe that God wants face to face meetings as well.
And maybe some of us may meet in person some day.
But nevertheless, even if you are 2 people gathered together for fellowship, then great, build each other up, and who knows what God can bring about from this, and who knows what pastor, teacher ect, he will bring, or he might call, and how he will lead things and bring things about.
But I am totally for fellowshipping and having meetings, to were the flock is fed, and we are praising the Lord, praying and so forth.

Speaking of church, this might help to challenge and stretch us a bit in regards to some of our ideas about church. In my humanity when I experience or see something good, I have a tendency to wish I could "bottle it" and bring it home with me. Like Peter and the mount of transfiguration, seeing something wonderful that God was doing he had this impulse to build a tabernacle around it. But rather we are to be a city on a hill giving forth its light, and not hide it under a bushel.

What always stood out to me about that, was how Peter was making Moses and Elijah equal to Jesus, and how the Father made it clear to all that they were not equal. Jesus was God's only begotten Son, and they were to hear him. The statement about building tabernacles was spoken out of fear, and not knowing what to say. I am not really sure what the point is you are trying to make?
The way I see it, if we have a good home church, we should remain in it and support it. I do have a church I attend. I do recognize that many don't have a good church in their area, and meeting online is better than going to a false church. I also do see this as a way to not forsake the assembling of yourselves. While I may be assembling in a local congregation in my area on Wednesday night, people here assemble in the chat. It is still an assembly.

But I do agree that if you cannot have face to face meetings and so on, then having a meeting online is better than having nothing, that is for sure.

While I may be assembling in a local congregation in my area on Wednesday night, people here assemble in the chat. It is still an assembly. There is usually more than one lesson to be gleaned from events that are written down in scripture. You know I've never met a born again believer who didn't WANT to assemble with other believers, never met one in my entire 34 years of knowing the Lord, have you? Maybe others have but I can't think of a single one....it just seems to go along with the territory of being a believer. Other than fellowship with the Lord Himself you want nothing more in life than to be with other fellow believers. Nevertheless there are times when those who fear, eg, times of persecution, or issues relating to mental illness, etc, might need encouraging. And I can't help but wonder how the gospel ever survived the lack of the internet for two thousand years. We thankfully dont' have to worry that the Lord's arm is ever too short......to feed His own flock even in a barren land. Now we are at the end of the church age and it doesn't seem to be business as usual any longer.....each one needs to be led by the Spirit and the will of God.....and don't be surprised if He tells His remnant to "flee Jerusalem when you see it surrounded by armies" because it's about to be torn down and judged. And oh dear brother, how I absolutely HATE that spirit in so many churches that seeks to make CAPTIVES of God's people, just absolutely HATE it....did I mention how much I HATE it and DESPISE it right back to hell where it came from. I tell you it makes the Lord FURIOUS. Jer 4:5 “Announce in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem and say: ‘Sound the trumpet throughout the land!' Cry aloud and say: ‘Gather together! Let us flee to the fortified cities!' Jer 6:1 “Flee for safety, people of Benjamin! Flee from Jerusalem! Sound the trumpet in Tekoa! Raise the signal over Beth Hakkerem! For disaster looms out of the north, even terrible destruction. Luk 21:20-22 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.

I am just trying to understand you, because I don't know what any of that means?

FLEE the tabernacles of men gone wrong , who have taught a false prosperity , and teach a false peace ,who holler a false love and who promote a false unity . COME YE OUT , Sound the trumpets , COME YE OUT from amongst them , touch not the unclean thing , partake not of their delusional sins , that ye REICEVE NOT of the plagues she too shall reiceve . FOR STRONG IS THE LORD WHO SHALL JUDGE HER . Children of GOD , let the LIGHT o CHRIST be seen in the lambs . Proclaim unto the world and her religions and her unity The end of that is the second death . But the end of all who follow the lamb IS MARVELOUS .

What are you talking about? I don't understand what you are saying? What does taking people captive mean, regarding the churches? I am just trying to understand you, because I don't know what any of that means? We're at the end of the church age....God is about to do something else now....He is leading His people out of Egypt/Sodom/Babylon/Jerusalem into the wilderness in order to lead us to forget what lies behind ("church age") and reach for what lies ahead. About 20 years ago the Lord led me to leave "church" and go to Him outside the camp. We've been seeing an unprecedented mass exodus of believers from churches in this generation. I believe the Lord is fulfilling these scriptures in these last days in order to keep His own from being caught up in His judgment of apostasy and delusion, as well as to lead us to and prepare our hearts for His coming: Jer 51:44-45 And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall. My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.
Eze 34:9-11 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. Please test these things and seek the Lord about it......As Israel of old is the ensample and pattern for the church......Israel fell away from the Lord and His glory departed the Temple....leaving them desolate and bereft of His presence and giving them over to their idolatries and spiritual adultery, deception etc. His glory has pretty much departed His "church" now, that is just the sad fact of this time we are in. Remember how it left the Temple and went and stood over the Mount of Olives....so we are to go wait for Him "there", flee through the wilderness to the mountains so to speak. That is how He speaks to me, at least, through the simple word pictures of the scriptures. It might seem hard to believe that He would destroy His own "church"...but remember that the falling away was prophesied to happen.....and think how it would have seemed just as unthinkable to the Jews in 70AD that He would destroy His own Temple...but He did...because He was finished with that age of the old covenant and moving on to the new covenant. And now I believe we are moving on to the fulfillment of what Pentecost was only the down payment for, guaranteeing what was to come. Pentecost was 'only' the bride price, the betrothal, guaranteeing the MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB that was to come. If we are indeed at the end of the age, then the bride needs to be preparing herself now for the marriage that is shortly to come.

For my husband and I, at this time, it is spiritually safer outside the churches. Amen...follow the Lamb...WHEREVER HE GOES. Each one needs to be led by Him and hearing from Him, His will for our individual life. many folks who have been caught up in the waves of this delusion do not understand this . it was not as though in the beginning I did not try and seek out much fellowship from many churches . I DID . lambs want to gather with lambs . But every time I turned around the doctrine was a total mess , always truths with lies , always wordly received and wordly taught . cant teach the true words of GOD with the carnal mind of man . THAT Wont work . SO my new saying for the day is this Lambs do want to gather with lambs , but lambs know that true lambs ARE TOTALLY DEVOTED TO CHRIST . so lambs do not gather with those who would dare teach and love a lie . They gather with lambs , NOT GOATS desigued as lambs under a banner of a false love lie . Lambs are addicted to CHRIST and love HIS sayings and any who teachers otherwise no matter how well they try and spin it and cloake it with green grass , THE LAMBS DONT BUY , DONT EAT OF IT PEROID . We got a major betrayal coming . But let no one fear man nor what he can do . Just rejoice in the LORD and hold fast the TRUTH in CHRIST , faithful to the end .
