Hello everybody.
There are certain activities youth and women do that are obviously sensual in nature like pole dancing or twerking.
I am not advocating that Christian women do these things blindly.
However, I'm noticing a pattern among some of the more conservative saints in that they restrict their daughters from almost every activity in order to maintain modesty.
I know of an SDA lady who counseled another young girl to simply give up all athletic activities for the Lord since her swimsuit would be immodest.
Here me out.
There must be a safe way for youth and women to express their creativity and have a constructive outlet for the energy.
I propose the answer is equipping them for ministry at an early age, including performing arts worship and worship services.
I see that many denominations have pounced on this--- many Pentecostal musicians have began from an early age.
But women specifically need a form of expression that is safe, Godly, and judgement free. Otherwise Satan is all too happy to get them into secular forms of dancing and entertainment.
Let's be careful not to take all the activities away from girls to maintain modesty without providing a fun, Godly alternative.
Dancing for the Lord is biblically promoted.
There is no rule against praising the Lord, worshipping through song and instruments, writing praise music, and performing with modesty before the Lord.
All dancing, or movement of female bodies cannot be sin. This is detrimental to the youth of our churches. They need encouragement, not total restriction. Encourage them in their gifts and talents so they can use them to serve the Lord.

All dancing, or movement of female bodies cannot be sin... But some people will always find it evil for some reason.
“To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving
nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.” - Titus 1:15
That said, even where there is no evil they can see evil. Because the evil actually is in their hearts.
Remember, they called Jesus a demon.
“...If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub,
how much more will they call those of his household!” - Matthew 10:25
Then, I would not care much about what people are thinking or saying.
If God does not confirm it to you then do not believe.
“Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar...” - Romans 3:4
“...For the Lord does not see as man sees;
for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” - 1 Samuel 16:7
“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you,
and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.” - Matthew 5:11
Blessings!

Blessings!Thank you for locating and quoting Titus 1:15 for me. It is a very relevant verse. I need to do my worship outreach ministry regardless of naysaying, if it's God's will.

1Ti 4:8 (8) For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
There is nothing wrong with bodily exercise, for it does profit a little as the bible says.
You can keep healthy with exercise.
Exercise can be many things, such as going for a jog, a walk, doing weights and so on.
And concerning modest apparel, let us be careful, if the focus of your apparel is to show off your body well think of the motivation in this, but if the motivation is just to look nice or fine, but the focus is not showing off your body, but just to look nice in a modest way, then praise God.
And concerning bathing suits, some are modest and some are not.
Guys wearing a speedo is not modest, and women wearing a bikini is not modest, things get revealed in a big way through these things.

I agree that most swimsuits are not modest. But as long as you can find a way to wear modest swimclothes--- I think swimming should be allowed. I have seen companies that make modest swimwear but often, it's expensive.

Me and my family go swimming from time to time in the summer, although not super often, but just at times.
And I never wear shorts that show the cheeks of the behind.
For why would I want to?

Let us seek to be examples to people, and not see how much we can reveal.

Well I use E-sword, which is an electronic bible program, which has the KJV, but also the Strong's concordance, which shows the Greek and Hebrew words and their meaning. But also you can go online to check out the Strong's concordance, but I find the easiest way to check things is through E-sword.

Titus 1:15-16 (15) Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. (16) They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
This is more of a reminder, and even a warning to some.
Many people use verse 15, as saying, all things are right as long as you are in Christ, regardless to what you do, but that is not what it is saying.
I have seen many use this verse as an excuse so to keep on doing what they are doing.
But rather look at the 2 contrasts, one of them is "unto the pure all things are pure", but "unto the defiled and unbelieving is nothing, nothing, nothing, pure !!!!!!!".
Now I must ask the question, why is all things pure to the pure?
Because when you walk in purity, you will not do something that is impure, simply just because you are walking in purity.
But can a Christian sin, and cease at times in walking in purity? Yes it happens, and in those things, those things are not pure, and you need to repent of those things, and once the sin is dealt with, then you can continue walking in purity.
But concerning the unbelieving, is nothing pure, why? Because they are walking in impurity, and walking in unbelief, and unbelief is a sin.
