Where is Jesus in Nehemiah?

Where is Jesus in Nehemiah? You have to think outside the box, but I will give you a few possible things from Nehemiah.
In Nehemiah 1:11, it tells us that Nehemiah was the King's cupbearer. We know that Jesus drank of the cup at the last supper with his disciples and drank of the cup that was given him to drink when he shed his blood on the cross.
Nehemiah went to seek out how the Jews were doing. In Nehemiah chapter 2, he went to Jerusalem to check out the wall. Jesus came to seek and to save the lost.
Nehemiah did not confide in men, and Jesus did not commit himself to other men, John 2:24
Nehemiah was mocked for doing the work of God as is seen in Nehemiah 4:1. Jesus was mocked by the multitudes for doing His Father's will.
Nehemiah was falsely accused of wrong doing in Nehemiah 6:6,7. Jesus was falsely accused, leading to him being crucified.
Nehemiah cleansed the temple in Nehemiah 13:7-9. Jesus cleansed the temple in Matthew 21:12,13
There may be more things to look for as well, but those are some.

Those are all great John!
I will add one more from Nehemiah…
And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another. In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us. — Nehemiah 4:19-20
We as Christian laborers are scattered far and wide working for the harvest. When we hear the trumpet, there will be a great gathering of all us in Christ as He dispels our enemies!!

“I have become a stranger to my brothers, And an alien to my mother's children;
Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up,
And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.” - Psalm 69:8-9
“...He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves,
and the money changers doing business. When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple,
with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers' money and overturned the tables.
And He said to those who sold doves,
“Take these things away! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!”
Then His disciples remembered that it was written,
“Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.”” - John 2:14-17

i know this isnt in the scavenger hunt but i wanted to say it.
Hos 1:2 The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD. Hosea was what i have heard called a "Christ type" not that he was Jesus, but the he represented Jesus to the people. Hosea's life was a living ministry to God thru obedience and also to the people, it was a visual parallel to the people... as Hosea loves his wife, a whore who did depart from Hosea, God to has loved us, and continues to do so even when we go whoring about. He remains faithful even when we are not. even when we depart, as it says in Hosea 1:2. Most people do not want to think of themselves as a whore, but when you really give openminded and honest thought on it, there is a shame in departing.
in chapter one of Hosea it speaks on children they had. so they were already married. and in chapter 3 it says this:
Hos 3:1 Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. Hos 3:2 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley: Hos 3:3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee. Hos 3:4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: Hos 3:5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
Hoseas wife of whoredoms got married and then left him. she went to play the harlot. and Hosea had to buy her back... much like Jesus did with us. we were already His. Just on account He made us. but He did not keep His heavenly estate. He came in the flesh, in the likeness of man. its like making an ant... and then becoming that ant. and then he laid down his life. he purchased us with His precious blood, that we may have a way back to The Father, a way to Live again. (zao) Jesus purchased what was already His. When He was on the cross and said, it is finished, he was saying the debt is paid in full. Hosea bought his wife back the same, he didnt get crucified to do it... but he had to purchase what was already his own. to us this is crazy. its against what we think naturally. we think i am not going to buy whats already mine, its already mine. But this is not what God did.
1Jn 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
let us purify ourselves, let us not play the harlot, and in doing so depart from The Living God. Oh God, let us come close and abide.

Jesus in Passover
Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats —Exodus 12:5
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth — 1 Peter 2:22
And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. — Exodus 12:6
Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. — Matthew 27:22
And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. — Exodus 12:8
For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. — John 6:55-56
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. — Exodus 12:13
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel — Hebrews 12:24

Here’s a new challenge for anyone willing to try. I have no particular answer in mind. Anything goes as long as it’s good.
Take this statement about Jesus: And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them. — Luke 4:42
Find a reference or parallel in some other part of Scripture.

Wow this is way different that some others have said . YET TRUE . I notice that often men will use things like this , to allow folks to just FEEL LOVED and concepts like we cant out sin Gods love . BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT our Brother Cletus said . HE said , let us purify ourselves , let us not play the harlot and in doing so depart from the Living GOD . Oh GOD , let us come close and abide . That was a beauty Cletus . Now , go ahead and put those hands up and PRAISE THE LORD .

People ought to feel ashamed that the Lord compares unfaithful people to harlots. But no, some wear it as a badge of honor.

I can only think of a couple of things. John the Baptist was in the wilderness, and the people came to him. Then there was David fleeing from Saul. A band of people sought after him and followed him the whole time. In all three cases, they were never alone.

I also found this.
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. — Psalm 63:1-2

Isaiah 61:1-3
THE Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Luke 4:16-21
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minster, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
